I miss her words of wisdom.
While recently watching Maya Angelou (80 years of age) on Oprah’s
Master Class I was glued to the television savoring every word she
spoke. Not only is she brilliant, as a teacher her words and life
experiences really connected with me. Maya’s lessons confirmed to me
that there is so much to gain from her generation.
> Even though I remember a lot of the things she taught me and many of the words
> have stayed with me, I > find myself craving the life experience, knowledge and
> wisdom of a generation prior to my own. I created this blog for us to share the words of our grandmothers,
whether still with us today or not. May we all be encouraged, and
inspired to take action from the lessons of these amazing women we
were blessed to have in our lives. Let’s make them proud of us as we
practice their words in our daily lives. __If you have a special memory or words of wisdom that your
grandmother instilled in you, I encourage you to share here in this
blog, and If you send me a photo, I will post it proudly for everyone
to see.__ _P.S. (if you haven’t watched Oprah’s Master Class, you’re missing
out, it’s the best!)_
